What to send us for a Tokyo-area itinerary

You want a custom Tokyo plan, and need to know what details make the quote accurate.

To scope a customised Tokyo plan, send nine details: dates, who is travelling, flights, base preference, pace, must-sees, food needs, mobility needs and a budget range. Gaps are fine. We use what you send to price the plan and ask for the rest.

What are the nine details?

  1. Dates. Exact days, or a window of two or three weeks.
  2. Travellers. Number of adults and children, with ages.
  3. Flights. Departure airport (KLIA, KLIA2, Penang or other) and landing time if booked.
  4. Base preference. An area you like, or “no idea yet”.
  5. Pace. Packed days or slow days, and how much walking is comfortable.
  6. Must-sees. Places, shows or experiences you cannot skip.
  7. Food needs. Halal-aware meals, allergies, fussy eaters.
  8. Mobility needs. Stairs, strollers, wheelchair, long-walk limits.
  9. Budget range. A rough ringgit range, per person or in total.

Why do these details change the quote?

Dates decide hotel and flight prices. Ages decide fares and room choices. Mobility and food needs shape the base and the days.

Our Tokyo page explains how a base works, and the hotel area comparator helps you test areas.

What can stay open?

You do not need a day-by-day plan. Leave restaurants, exact order and shopping stops open. See when to stop planning and ask for a quote.

How does the Tokyo plan get built?

  1. We confirm your airport and landing time.
  2. We pick a base and decide between one hotel and two.
  3. We build a day plan with lighter days after long ones.
  4. We price transport in yen and ringgit.
  5. You review and adjust.

Our five-day first-timer plan shows the shape. If you already have a draft, use the Tokyo itinerary review checklist.

What about the wider Kanto region?

For Hakone, Nikko, Kamakura or Yokohama, see the Kanto quote checklist. It lists extra details such as day-trip order and luggage. For a general checklist, read what to send for an accurate Japan quote.

What happens after you send it?

We reply with a plan outline, a ringgit view of the main costs and a list of any missing details. You decide whether to book through us, use the plan yourself or ask for changes. Before paying, read our cancellation questions.

Copy the nine items below into one WhatsApp message and fill what you know. We reply with a plan outline and the few details still needed to price it.

Questions travellers ask

How much detail do I need to send for a Tokyo quote?

Nine items are enough to start: dates, travellers and ages, flights, base preference, pace, must-sees, food needs, mobility needs and budget range. Gaps are fine. We list what is missing and ask only for what changes the price.

What if my flights are not booked?

Send the airports and a date window. We can plan around KLIA, KLIA2 or Penang departures and tell you which Tokyo airport suits your timing. Booking flights first can limit your options, so a plan before booking often helps.

Can I ask for day trips like Hakone or Nikko?

Yes. Name them and say how many days you can spare. We check the transport, the walking and the season, and tell you whether to add a night or keep it a day trip.

How long does it take to get a quote?

It depends on the detail in your message and how many options you want compared. Send what you have and we reply with a plan outline and what is still needed.

Ready to shape your Japan trip?
