Your last day before a Kansai flight
You have a flight home from Kansai, and want the last day calm instead of rushed.
You land back at the airport tired and want to walk in with one light bag.
To walk into the airport with one light bag, hand your suitcase to the courier at least 2 days before your flight, or 3 days for some areas 1. It must reach the airport at least one day before your departure date. The airport you send to must be the one you fly from.
Delivery time cannot be specified, so do not plan to send it the night before 1.

If a hotel cannot take the bag, drop it at a convenience store such as 7-Eleven or FamilyMart, or at a Yamato sales office 2.

For the hours between checkout and the airport, read luggage storage after checkout. For the last night, see a night near the airport before flying home.
If you end in Osaka, the Kansai last day before departure shows how to use the free hours. The takkyubin glossary entry explains the service, and the Osaka page covers the city.
